We are now in Paris for a few days now and the weather is wet and brrr!!! cold. I have to use five layers of clothing to stay warm when we go out! It was about a week more before we travel to Continental Europe. Since we had the time we decided to travel on our own to Winterton in the north. We also wanted to have a look atSt. Pancras International which was where we will board the Eurostar to Paris. St. Pancras International For this trip we made use of Mega Bus, the first part of the journey was by train from St. Pancras International to East Midlands Parkway and the cost of the journey was within our budget. We also familiarised ourselves with St. Pancras International. This is really good for us because we travelled to Paris from here. Midlands Trains What's up there? The Longest Champagne bar just beside the Eurostar platforms. In the train to East Midlands Parkway. Rapeseed blooming. Ratcliffe-on-Soar Power Station. Our dinner is a typical English food, fish & chips. Having done this trip we were more confident when we took the train to Paris.
You really teased us there with the fish and chips box KK. Although I'm quite glad it wasn't open as I would have got too hungry!
Frank, come to Winterton the next time when we're there and I'll buy you 2 boxes but it must be on a Monday because it is almost half price!
