Aren't those flowers just little darlings to still want to cheer up the greyness. So sweet. You know those last two pictures reminds me so much of my dad - I was looking at it and could not help but think of how my dad still wanted to see Scandinavia before he passed away. He always said everybody wants to go to Switzerland - he wants to go nearer to the Arctic. Thanks for sharing those povely pictures. For me those pictures is like a dreamworld.
I'm sorry to hear about your father, Palm Tree. I'll be happy to share wintery photos as long as you share summer ones.
How lovely the scenery is covered in snow, of course I don't have to live there. It is 87 degrees in Louisiana today.
We've got good heating and double glazing cajunbelle. A steady 21 deg C - 70 deg F indoors all winter.
Cold weather makes for beutiful photographs! I love the last one. Mountain scenery is such a sight! And what cute little flowers you've got peeping through the snow there.
awww those poor things,, but they still look nice. at least its more color than i have here...lol. I got seaweed. an the mountain pics are so nice,, an theres light too. were down to 4 1/2 hours now of daylight.
At least you still have some blooms Droopy. Everything here is just...blah! I think we are getting just under 10 hours of daylight.
The snow makes the colours of your flowers stand out sooo well Droopy. I still have some primroses and cyclamen blooming here but very little else. Your scenery (I know, I've said it before) is absolutely magnificent.
Stunningly beautiful photos, Droopy! Now you must please excuse me while I pull on another pair of warm, fuzzy socks.
WOW...seven hours of daylight...I don't think I could handle that.7 am to about 4 or 5 in the winter here is short enough for me. Last winter we didn't get much snow till late in the season here...the rabbits had a field day getting at everything..I am not a violent person but when you can't stop a critter from destroying your yard...it means war. Beautiful pictures of your scenery..I hope you have a lot of bright sunny days.
With daylight shrinking I would probably also shrink into a feather duvet and curl up in it in front of the fireplace with a good book. It is bad that we (I mean many of us here in SOuth Africa) take sunlight for granted.) One plus point though is that you have this lovely scenery - dreamworld that is jsut beyond your door.
