My family and I decided to adopt our own platoon. They are in Afghanistan and are a company of 89 paratroopers. (all guys). They are on their 3rd deployment together and have 7 months to go. The things they want or need the most are simple things. Books, drawing supplies, hygiene products and American snacks. I have 6 boxes packed so far and at least enough for two or three more boxes. That's so good of you two to do that!!! I have sent boxes of Halloween candy through http://www.operationgratitude.com/ and sent socks through https://www.foxsox.com/Catalog/category.aspx?code=SLDIR over the last few years.
Those men will be so grateful to you both for your generosity. I hope they all come home safe and sound.
Well done Donna and Toni,..it means so much when goodies arrive from home especially when you are far from home,..the guys who have no immediate family feel connected,..everyone feels that somebody is thinking of them,..a day on active duty is a very long day,..keep up the good work.
