I found this in my local Walgreens, which for those of you not in the US, is a drugstore/pharmacy type store, usually selling just what the name implies and not anything particularly cute (except for their seasonal stuff, which right now is Valentine's Day goodies.) Anyway, I just thought it was very cute!
Well, Ronni, That is much better than what the customers at a local Marc's got yesterday... There was a crew setting an air conditioner on a roof and the crane toppled over SMASHING 8 cars. no one was hurt, though. (I am suspecting that a gust of wind caught the unit and swayed it too far for the weight of the crane unit.) You got a much better surprise than them.
Oh no! Oh man, that sucks. Funny you should mention that though. A couple doors down from that Walgreens a new Auto Zone is opening up. There were workmen and trucks and such. There was a crane positioning something on the roof, it was a gusty day, and I was seeing all these people parking their cars what I considered to be WAY too close to all that. I guess they were trying to save themselves having to walk any distance to the other stores on either side of that Auto Zone. Me? I've never minded walking, and in fact I'll often park far away just that that I can. So I parked my car what I figured was a safe distance away, so that if that crane toppled, it still wouldn't reach my vehicle. I'm a firm believer in prevention!
Frank, yes!! That was exactly my thought, which was why I bought it! It was only $1.99, but honestly, I would have paid much more because it exactly right! And I would have bought more too, but this was the only one!
