My orchids have been dormant since I moved in with Paige. I moved them over to Ed's house a couple months ago, because I wanted them to have better growing conditions than they get over here. My strategy worked. This IS what I think it is, right? A new stalk, rather than just another root bud?
It certainly looks like a new stalk to me Ronni. It must really like its new home. Now all we need is it to flower for you later on in the year.
Eileen it had better flower!!!! I've waited 3 friggin' years for this! Do you think if I sweet talk it, that might help it along? I have a friend who sings to her flowers!
I would sweet talk it Ronni. If I sang to my flowers they'd all shrivel up and die. Seriously you've never heard anything like my singing and I hope you never will.
