Rain lilies have tiny bulbs that just wait for a good downpour to send up their shoots and flowers.

The spring lilies are white, but the ones that appear in the fall are a warm yellowish-orange. They appear in clumps all over the yard and barn lot. Very festive and indicative of cooler and moister days to come.
