Just amazing what a bit of rain will do. I still have rose buds on pretty much each rose...but after the storm they started to open. I normally have them trimmed and covered by now but I just can't bring myself to do it until I hear a forecast for a hard freeze. I want to enjoy them as long as I can.

    That's beautiful.
I wouldn't want to miss any of those beauties either. As long as mine are blooming they don't get trimmed back, shoot we could have blooms all thru the winter the way the weather is going this year.

naturenanni - What a gorgeous Rose bloom you have!
Nature's rain does do wonders doesn't it?
I sure wish I could have some rain, it just skirts right by us... Hope you haven't had too much severe weather, do you have the high winds? It has really been windy here!!

Thanks! We did have a bad storm come through yesterday I got lucky just got rain and a couple big gusts of wind. Those on both sides of me got hit much worse they had tornado warnings out. My sister had some property damage and a few of her neighbors but no one was hurt. I don't like storms but we were in bad need for rain.

OO what a real beauty!! I love that dark red. velvety colour. My last rose got hit by frost and is now a thing of the past so it's lovely to share yours with you.

I like your rose a lot. :stew2: Our last roses froze to death this week-end, so that was it for this year I guess. Please share more roses, those of the Stewbies who can.
