We had storms come through about 4 pm. It got so dark that our solar garden lights came on. Windy and rainey, but no hail. But we did get 1 inch of rain that we did need. So my rain barrels are topped off again.
Our forecast said 20 percent chance of afternoon or evening thunderstorms but so far it's sunny and hot. When we do get thunderstorms, that's what it is, thunder, no rain. dooley
At least you recieved some rain. We had some thunder and wind. But no moisture. Going off to look at the forecast now.
Glad someone got rain. We had some clouds off to the distance, even heard some rumbling. But nothing materialized from them.
I guess we got the storm(s) after I went to bed. Limbs and tree's down everywhere. 48,000 without electricity at the peak. 2" of water in the raingauge this evening when I got home from work!
WOW! FBG, I didn't know that! That is a lot of people without electricity. and unless you are amish, that is a bummer! Hope everyone is ok though.
