I get a kick from growing tricky plants from seed, and a few years ago I grew a pot full of agapanthus. Well, they are still quite small, but there are several buds this year.

I have 3 iris in the pond, all given to me, and this year they flowered, and low and behold, all three were different colours! I believe these are called Flag Iris?? Anyhow, I still have the yellow and pale lilac in flower, the dark blue have just finished.

The rest of the pics are just a sample of what is in flower in the garden at the moment. As you can see, I have a couple of smashing Dahlias just opening.

And this is my peach, a good couple of dozen on my baby tree.

And this is the first year I have grown a grape vine in my greenhouse, so we have baby grapes!

Your blooms and baby fruits are looking good, EJ. Wish I could be there and taste them with you when they're ripe.

How does your garden grow...? Very Well!! It all looks wonderful! Your dahlias are smashing :p What is the name of that pink thing in the 6th photo? My mom grew them when I was a kid and I'd love to find some. If I remember right the stems and leaves were kind of gray and fuzzy.

I think you mean the Stachys, and yes, grey furry leaves with those shocking pink flowers.

Pretty blooms in your garden, EJ and in your picture too. You're hugging them.

Your blooms look so pretty and so varied...looking good.
The water Iris I have are Louisiana Iris, not sure what kind yours are.

I bought some Agapanthus for the first time this year. They were on the sale table so I figured, why not. I have 4 blue and 1 white, not sure if they will make it thru the winter but I hope to save some seeds in case they don't.

My flag iris are flowering at the moment too EJ - both the blue and yellow. Your foxgloves and dianthus are ahead of mine but my thrift is now only brown seed heads. I have gooseberry sized plums but have never tried either peaches or grapes - yet.
It's great to compare the differences in our gardens considering we're both from the same island but with different weather conditions as a rule.

What startling fotos, EJ--the Scabiosa, Lychnis and the purple and white dahlia. Is that one the "Glenbank Twinkle"?
I could just look at those pics all night long.

Pretty pretty! What is the white blossom just after your peach? I like that one alot. Really like the agapantus too. I feel inspired to try something new now!
