I went to the primary care doctor and he says I'm doing good. My Ac1 was 6.2 and my bone density test came out great, no problems there. Keep on my medications and take the added vitamin D every day. He did give both Brian and I a flu and a pneumonia shot. No problems there either. We went and did some shopping had lunch and came home. We had lunch at the Blue Baker on University Ave in College Station. I had broccoli/cheddar soup in a bread bowl. dr had a sandwich and tomato basil soup in a regular bowl. It was very good. No more doctors until January and then August next year. Great news to me! dooley
I"m glad to hear that Laura.I was at the Dr.in Normangee this morning.I have a bad infection.UTI.I have been taking antibotics going on 3 weeks. Its not any better.I have a very resistant infection.I am on my third medication.
Really wonderful news Dooley. It's what I've been hoping to hear. :-D Glenda I hope your health improves soon and that the infection can be cleared up once and for all.
Great for you Dooley! So glad to hear the good news. Glenndan, can you drink more water? cut out all sugar and get some cranberry (no sugar) juice or cranberry pills to help with the infection? There is something in it that helps to keep the bacteria from sticking to the wall of you bladder and urethra. The extra water helps to flush it out faster, too. Hope you feel better soon
Dooley, the doctors and nurses will probably miss your smiling face and upbeat attitude, but let 'em! I'm so glad you won't be seeing them anytime soon. Their loss is your gain, and you deserve the relief a good report brings.
Super news, Dooley. It sounded like you guys had a good day all-round. I am very happy to hear the results of your vist.
That's good news Dooley. Less time spent with doctors, more time gardening. Gee, I wonder which one you like best? Hmmmmm..... Jerry
Good news. I have to get both my shots. But might need wrist x-rayed been pain full last couple weeks.
Dooley, that is such good news. Your truck gas bill will drop drastically now that you don't have all those Dr. visits to make....more money for seeds and plants for the garden.
