All flowers are my favorites, look at some more of my inventions .2009 Flame Azalea.....My son was thowing it in the Trash, I retrieved it . Glad I did.;o) Below is my LIGHT BLUE Clematis. It seems to bear all year till frost. Spring strippy tulip. Dont know how it got there. My Favorite photo of my white tulip . I have no Idea how it appeared here. Purple violas which multiplied like rabbits. They sure make spring worth looking at. Last is my sweet pink tulip.. a pleasure to behold anytime. Enjoy my flowers and I will go hunt more. b
Lovely, lovely fotos, B. All that brightness is very good to see. I really like the azalia, that particular type does not get very big here. Yours looks like a good specimen.
Thanks Sjoerd, I have 2 other azaleas, they stayed as mini types. My son was cleaning out his yard an had it thrown in to disgard. He said do you want it ? I said yes, I run a hospital for sick plants.LOL It turned out to be the nicest one I own. Now I inherited a rhodendren which I never had survive for me.. AN I am hoping for a first time. Everyone else has one , not me..LOL I sound like a hog huh? Addicted to mom nature. b
I love your flame azalea Barb - wish I had one just like it. I 'm also very partial to your violas and tulips - not forgetting that lovely clematis too. Thanks for sharing some of your beautiful flowers with us. :-D
No, you don't sound like a hog! I like that "hospital for sick plants!" Spring seems like ages away... Darn, seeing those tulips reminded me I have a bag and forgot to plant them... Too late.
ps.. I too forgot to plant 6 purple tulips.. So this week I put them into a flower pot inside.. Never tried the inside jobs. Netty .... no choice needed. My new seed catalog says there is a clematis called Josephine pink--- awesome for the pink lovers. also Empress clematis. I think jung or shumway.. I cherish that lite Blue clematis now, cause my sis who died on april 1, bought that for me the year before. She bought us each one, hers died. Now all is left is her flower.. Memories that linger in the heart. b
