Never thought that there will be such a place in the world! But amazingly, these people don't seem to mind an actual full size train moving through - Yes, really moving through their place of commerce, not just passing by closely. But actually going through!!!

It really has to be seen in order to be believed! :D

Just imagine a train passing through your living room 8 times a day! Exactly how will you maintain your sanity?

Wow S-H that is incredible. It looks to be a standard routine dealing with the train. The marketplace must be hard pressed for space. Do you know if the train is a convenient way of moving produce to the marketplace? It may explain something like that establishing itself over time.

Amazing!! Everybody certainly seems to take the train passing through as perfectly normal. It's good to see that the train doesn't appear to disturb the running of the market in any way.

Saw this a few weeks ago and was amazed at this being allowed to go on anywhere.....seems so dangerous but i guess regulations are different everywhere.

I was having a chuckle reading some of the YT comments though, talking about "nothing better than a fresh dose of soot and rust to compliment ya veggies" kind of stuff.. :p

This is actually the fruit and vegetable market in the town of Meaklong. Which is 70 km west of Bangkok Thailand. From what I've been able to gather so far, it's the train which is the new feature. As the market predates the train!

I swear, if this were to happen in any part of my city of Karachi - Than there will be about 2 dozen lawsuits filed every time the train would pass...
    :D
