Christmas was pretty easy this year. We bought ourselves a new entertainment system in Oct. New cabinet, new 37 inch LCD HDTV set, new dvd/vcr set and a new satellite receiver. My son who works at Wal Mart has been sick of Christmas sonce mid Oct. didn't want to mess with shopping this year as he dosn't know what to get us. So we decided to just get ourselves our own gifts. He got a new tv just like ours, only in a 47 inch. Put a few lights up outside on the deck and a few decorations in the house, but no tree this year. Christmas dinner is all bought, just have to warm it up. We are having 2 slabs of baby back ribs! Real traditional!

Everything is done here apart from the food stuff which shouldn't take too long. I don't make a Christmas day meal we just have a running buffet - much easier. :-D

I managed to get the last of my gifts today, which are already wrapped. I went and got the turkey we will have at home ourselves on Christmas Day. We will be getting together with my family on Christmas Eve and having a lovely Schnitzel dinner and all the trimmings (which seems to have become our tradition somewhere in the last 15-20 years). Friday after school we will decorate our Christmas tree. I'm starting to get all excited now that I'm ready!

I think I have everything wrapped - including gifts from out-of-state relatives for the kids, that I have to wrap when they arrive. Just a little more shopping for edibles and a jot of cleaning and we're set to go. Yay!

Still a bit of shopping to do, tomorrow, probably.
Guests coming on Christmas day, still need to wrap their gifts,
ooo, and clear away all the seeds and plant packing materials from the dining room table.

Kind of almost done, sort of.
I still have this project for Lisa that I am knitting. And a few things to wrap.

Saturday I will do the only baking in my plans, Chocolate Pixies and Snowball cookies. I have a little more food shopping to do tonight. And the grandsons will be here for the night so they can make gifts for their Mom, they made something for their Dad while they were here Sunday.
We go to Lisa's for Christmas day so I don't have any cleaning to do :-D :-D :-D

Ian has contributed to Christmas BIG style this year. He's written SEVEN Chrissy cards for his workmates. Maybe you should take a leaf out of his book Richard. :D :D
