I have a woodshed crammed full of firewood and today I got the old tractor ready for the winter. Pumped up att the tires, changed the oil and put in light weight winter oil. Got the snow blower put on and tried it out to make sure it was working right! Did all of that on a 70 degree day in my shirtsleeves!

It wouldn't make me mad if I never had to even start it up! But sure as God made little green apples, if I didn't get it ready, we would have record snow falls! :)

Very organised indeedy. I am getting there with my winter chores - guinea pigs have been moved into the conservatory, greenhouse is all cleaned and any holes sorted and all tender plants are nicely homed in it. Now I am waiting for a hard frost to knock my dahlias and begonias back so I can move the begs into the greenhouse and mulch the dahlias for the winter.

I've got the woodshed half filled and another load of wood being delivered later in the week. My gardens are all put to bed I just need to wrap a few shrubs and put away some ornaments. DH got the snow blower ready and the plow painted. Now we just need to get our snow tires put on.

The only prep I've done Capt. is cleaning out the garden and that is only 3/4 done. I'll let DH work on the snow thrower and the generator. I just need to get the garden done. Nice work Capt. I'm glad someone is organized.
