Me and my friend bought a 20 bulbs packet of Alliums last fall and both she and me planted them in containers. While hers came up and looks so healthy and even has buds, mine are wilting. The bulb packet cant be bad as hers are doing great. What could be wrong with mine. Mine took forever to come up too while hers had come up much earlier.

Does that pot have adequate drainage? It looks like the roots might be water logged and rotting.

I have to check that again. When I planted, I did think they have very good drainage.

Also did your friend plant hers in a clay pot? Like Toni said it maybe due to poor air circulation.
