California is the almond capital of the states, but we can grow almonds here in Texas, also. Our almond trees (all two of them!) are coming into bud and blossom.

The trees are Hall's Hardy Almonds, and with any luck, we'll get almonds this year. If so, y'all will hear me cheering!

How wonderful, Jane. I hope they produce abundantly for you. It sounds like almonds are going to be getting as scarce as the pecans were a few years ago. The price will go up and never come back down. so, you will be having to stand guard over those trees from now on.
