Every year I find myself saying "where did the time go? I can't believe that it's Christmas, already." Here in southern CA the winter weather is kinder than in other parts of the country. We finally had some rain, then we got warmer, then we got windy and you never know how to dress. My garden is becoming greener due to the recent rains and I still need to finish putting in the rest of my native plants that I bought in October. And now it's Christmas already. "Where did the time go?" Merry Christmas to all of you and have a joyous and safe New Years, too! :-D
I agree - it seems no time at all sice I was decorating our cottage for Christmas 2008!! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. :-D
Time does fly, and faster as I get older too. I remember wondering last year if I should bother to tidy the Christmas decor away since I would dig it out again very soon, but I did anyway.
I say the same thing every year too Sespagel! I can't believe we are almost at the year 2010! Where DOES the time go??
Remember when you were little kids and summer seemed endless and as for Christmas, it always took too long to arrive, especially when waiting for Santa:?: Time is relative I believe, as to our age. As adults, we're are too busy multi-tasking, thus "time" becomes shorter and the years fly by. Focus on what really matters in your life so that you can look back at the years (but don't dwell in the past) and smile that nothing was left undone. A big hug to those of you on the East coast. The storm looks brutal. Here at my house, it's only slightly cool and I will be doing a walk soon. Have a wonderful Christmas everyone and appreciate everything you have and don't focus on what you feel is missing. :-D
