    The wall is completed.

The pavers are laid for the patio at the basement door.

The pavers have to be tamped down yet, and sand swept into them. Also there will be a coarse 1 high that will be a flower bed. It will run from the basement wall on the left hand side of the patio. It will come out to the end of the wall and then join the wall. One more day and they should be completely done.

About the only thing I am going to put back in, is the Bleeding heart. It will go in the lower bed about midway. Thats about where it was before. There was a whit rose up above, but it only got a few bllom on it last year and the Japanese beetels got those. Everything else was old and overgrown so they will be replaced by something new in the spring. Don't know what yet. Whatever it is will be perrenials that don't need much work.

Looks great...I love the colors. One question. are you covering up a cement spot by the back door or is that sand and dirt where the blocks are on the ground? Just curious because I couldn't tell for sure.

I like the overhang by your back door. I would like one by the garage door going out back.

Sherry, there was a small concrete pad, but they took that out. They dug it out down and put in 3 inches of gravel and then 2 inches of sand and pea gravel. What they call screenings. They need to sweep a mixture od sand and silicone down into the spaces between the pavers. The silicone will turn solid and prevent bugs and weeds and grass from growing between them. I will take a pic and post it once it is totally completed. We wanted to do the whole complex at once and have it totally done. This was our vacation money for this year! :) Next spring, I am going to redo the roof and put brown steel roofing on it.

What a difference the new wall makes and the pavers tie in nicely. Once the bed is formed it's all going to look so good!! Come spring when you put in the new plants it will all look so lovely. Money well spent. :-D

In the spring we are going to have him redo the side walk going to the back porch with the same pavers. So it will all match.

That is looking great CK. Do you like daylilies. They are really easy care and are super pretty. You could tuck some of them here and there. I am sure whatever you do it will look great.
