The day after Christmas we got 9 inches of snow. Last night we got rain, and today it is 60 deg F. So now all we have on the ground is a few piles of snow where it was shoveled into a pile. Supposed to be abnormally warm all weekend. So will be completely gone by the time it turns cold on Monday!

We're going to have the opposite here CK. It's been mild for the last week and now snow is forecast for the week-end.

We don't have any snow to melt but we still have puddles every where and it's going to rain again starting during the night.
    Was sunny and 75 today.

Not here. 50 for a high tomorrow but the next 5 days high in the low 30's and lows in the teens. Rain/Snow tomorrow night with 1-3 inches predicted. Usual for us this time of year.

I was hoping for snow this year but so far no luck. Crazy I know but I was wanting to get some snowy pictures with my new camera.

Looks like it is going to be pretty warm here for a few days and on Monday start getting colder. Saturday and Sunday suppose to be up to 69* with a low of 50 for the nights, 20% chance of rain... Sounds like good birthday weather to me, bit windy though.

Yep, all of ours is gone today too. I went to the first mid- Ohio growers convention/trade show and on the way home the creeks and waterways are filled to almost over flowing. We have a micro climate in the back yard, not all of our snow is gone yet, but I expect by morning it will be. I am on my way to the Cleveland airport as soon as I am done typing this to get one of my boys coming home from a missions trip to Haiti (YEA!) and I suspect there will be no snow that direction either. Maybe a lot of water, though! I hope we aren't detoured.

Our mountains of snow are almost completely gone too, and I have a HUGE lake down at the front of the property!

Yup most of our snow is gone also. Temp's above freezing, rain yesterday, and highs today in the upper 40's.
Next week is suppose to be a real cool down. Like single digit's. But at least the animals can find food easier with the snow gone.
My two goaties are enjoying sun bathing on their wooden platform in the pasture. I hope I do not loose any plants because of a lack of snow cover with the temps getting so low this next week. Oh well, this to shall pass. :stew1:

Hi Capt. Sounds like I have the weather you have only I'm a few days ahead of you. The snow all disappeared as of yesterday, and today a cold front has arrived and dropped the temps back down to "winter".

Most of the snow is gone but it is quite cold. I really like some snow cover to protect plants from the cold. Hopefully it won't get cold enough to kill anything.

We still have snow across the yard. I was hoping it would be gone because I could use the buggy wagon to haul water in buckets out to the chickens. If the snow doesn't go away I cant do that. :'( :'(

Maybe tomorrow it will go away.
