    The pileated woodpeckers come each day. They hang about quite a long time. They have been here over a hour today. I can get within three feet but I wanted to show the two together.

    They are on the feeders that I made for the newsletter. It shows that they use them, the long board to support their tails.

    My woodpeckers are rather shy and only stay a maximum of ten minutes in the garden each time they visit. I've never managed to get a photograph of the male and female together - yet.
