I have had my 2 amaryllis bulbs for 4 and 5 years. Most years they have bloomed, and have always had great leaf growth. This year they are looking sad. The bulb is green on one, but no sign of leaf growth. The other bulb started growing, but one leaf turned yellow. Any ideas for helping the bulbs out???

If your Amaryllis had spots or dark reddish-brown on the bulbs & have definite outlines, then your bulb most likely has the 'red blotch' fungus.

Often this fungus will show up on foliage and a disformed bud stalk.

If the inner tissue is damaged in any way, the bulbs may be rotting from within.
