Hi, I am new to the site, and read a blog about amaryllis plants. I have 2 of them that have not bloomed in a long time, so after reading the blog, they are now in a dark closet. Hope they can be brought out in a month or so and will bloom. Ann

Hi Ann, glad you joined us. My typical welcome mentions that I am in north Texas but since we have known each other for years I figured I could skip that part. ;)

Ann, welcome to the forum! We are in Central Texas (and there are members that are not Texans, and they will chime in soon! :D ) on a small farm. This is a great place to talk gardens, crafts, recipes, etc. and get good advice and lots of help.

Hi Ann, welcome to GardenStew from Chelmsford MA. It will be interesting to see if the amaryllis blooms after spending time in your closet. Welcome aboard.

Hi! Welcome from Texas. I haven't lived in Texas too long so I don't think I can be called a Texan. I do like it here though. You can garden here most all year around.
