I thought I had posted this last week but I can't find it. My friend gave me one of these about 25 years ago. She said it was not common. I have Googled it and can't find much about it. Does anyone know what it is called. She called it Mahogany Amaryllis.

So look at the mew flower developing next to the first stem. As I look at the bulb I wonder if it is going to split into 2 bulbs in the future.

Most of mine make bulbs, but I did have one that split in half. I gave one of the halves to my twin sister.

A twin for a twin. That makes them very special, and both of you also.
