Amazing sight! Goose (?) migration

    I assume theyre Canada Geese (lol)...they werent honking in normal fashion though! When I first heard this weird sound (hard to describe...like honking, but different), I went outside and looked around. It finally occured to me to look UP...

    WOW great shots Jen!! We see geese daily now heading south for the winter but I doubt I could get as good photographs of them as you have. :smt041 :smt041

    The sound that you heard was probably the sound of their wings passing through the air. The large flocks of geese make a loud humming noise when they fly over here.

    I really liked seeing this series of foto's. Geese have been flying overhead here all evening.
    Some of those foto's look like "connect the dots" patterns. :)
