Winter has decided it likes it here in Scotland so it's paying us yet another visit. Just when I was going to plant my six bare root roses that arrived yesterday.
Oh Eileen, That's just awful. It looks like you need ice skates for the pond. I don't know what to say about all that snow this late in the season. What is the forecast for the weekend?
Your unwanted guest has overextended itself, how discouraging Eileen. We need a good long warm spell to put an end to this madness. When spring finally gets here we are going to be one busy bunch of gardeners. Jerry
Oh, what a shame, Eileen! I remember having late-season snow bend my tulips over, bury the daffodils, and make me maniacal! If it is any consolation, your garden is still beautiful when it's white. Not everyone understands "structure" as well as you do.
Dear god.....yuck and yuck again. Snow, in March! As much as I wish you didn't have it, please don't send it down here. I have seeds and bulbs up everywhere and I am hoping to plant my first early spuds and peas on the allotment on Friday. I feel for you Eileen, really I do.
Oh my goodness, again???? I can't even imagine... Eileen and Droopy... sending warm thoughts... really WARM.
