    Don't know if this vines, my mom "borrowed" a piece that was hanging generously over a fence into an alley. It was beautiful. Now she's requesting my help in id'ing it.

    Love these late- and long-bloomers! They don't seem like a staple item, but I haven't been in the south long. I just didn't find any more this year. My first attempt died over winter and I want to try again.

    Hopefully you will have better luck next year. I have both the tall variety and the groundcover in zone 8a and they have come back every year even after the ice and snow a couple of years ago.

    Thanks! I may have gotten a bit over-exuberant about putting oak leaves in this plant's bed. Or our great Dane could have stepped on it, too. I'm sure it was something we did, not the plant. Just need more of this beauty!
