Fall that is. Some leaves are starting to turn and fall already. The Honey Locusts and the Black Locusts are starting to turn yellow and some leaves are falling. The walnut trees are dropping leaves and nots. Some of the Hickory trees are also dropping nuts. The squirrels are going nuts (literally) under the big oak tree, gathering up the acorns. I have my wood shed full and ready to go also.

Agreed. Thick morning dews and glistening cobwebs. The tree fruits are ripe and I am picking apples, pears and plums by the bucket full. I don't mind the autumn, in fact, I love all the seasons, but late winter gets me down.

Capt. send some fall weather to us please. The only leaves that are falling here are due to lack of water!

I certainly wouldn't mind some Autumn weather, shoot I will take spring type weather as long as it kicks Summer in the patootie and sends it on it's way to the southern part of the world.

Yep, dead brown leaves and our pecan trees are almost empty of nuts because of the heat and drought, another year of no pecans. The black empty hulls have been falling on the roof and top of my car for almost three months. A not so friendly squirrel was chattering away at me recently, I think he believes I killed the pecans just to repay him for chewing thru the birdfeed container in the spring.

Yes, I guess there is no denying it any longer. The Maple's are stating to turn here, the squirrels are working the Oak trees (you need a hard hat to walk under the tree!), the days are shorter and the nights are cooler. I'm NOT happy about it!
