I was looking out the window today and saw that my brush pile was full of cardinals and other birds. So, I grabbed the camera and was going to take some pictures. I had some stale bread so I thought that if I scared them away when I went out I could scatter the bread crumbs and wait very quietly and they would come back. So, I scattered the bread and went back in for the camera. I sneaked out the door and went around the house. Guess what was also sitting very quietly waiting for them to come back. I spent the rest of the day chasing him out of my yard. In between chasing that darn cat I took some pictures of Chance's friends. This is a billy goat. Why Chance wants it for a friend I don't know because it is a smelly billy goat. She likes these two but thinks they don't communicate very well. She talks to them but they don't answer. No animal here but there has been one. dr calls it Tiny Tank. There are many holes now so I suppose I need to take my shovel and hoe and fill them back so we don't step in one. Most are smaller than this one. I ask how you got rid of armadillo's and was told to shoot them. I guess they will be around here for a while. I'm not about to do that. They were here first. dooley
I never try to feed the birds on the ground as those cats are most always around just waiting to pounce.
Lovely animal shots, dooley. I think the cat has decided he lives there. That billy goat's got some handsome horns. I really like the horses. Are they Icelandic? If they are, they've got a special gait called tølt, and it's like flying when you ride. Nearly no movement at all, but the speed is awesome.
I think they are all adorable, the black cat looks quite relaxed there waiting for her flying lunch to arrive. The ponies are gorgeous i just love them shame they will not talk with chance. The goat well what a handsome fellow I am sure he will be up to mischief the minute your back is turned. Killing armadillos? why? poor little things, I am with you let them be.
