Annual American Legion Craft Show.

Our Legion Post had it's craft show today and I was in charge of it again this year. We made $1000 for the post from that and we also had a pancake and sausage breakfast going on this morning at the same time. We made about $200 from that. We had a bit of a surprise this morning because the Republican candidate for the Senate from Ohio dropped in with his entourage. He dropped about $100 on gifts for his family and posed for pictures with some of the people. Here is one of me with him, I am on the left.



He too is a veteran of the Iraq war. He thanked the veterans for our service and for everything we do for other veterans.

He is a real nice guy. He even donated $20 to the Military Family Support Group and asked that it be used to help send Holiday boxes to the troops from our county!

 

Congratulations on raising the money. Being in charge of a craft show is a lot of work. I miss the craft shows back in the U.S. And I know the troops look forward to the holiday boxes.

 

Congratulations on a show well done! I think I would vote for the chap to the left, he's most handsome.

What a nice day it must have been for you. Like TBL said, being in charge of a craft fair is hard work. It is great that you raised a good bit of money! Good looking guys!

 

You sure do a lot of work...it keeps you busy. What type of items did you have in the sale? Do you charge to walk in the door like some places do? I haven't been to very many lately, just busy with something else at the time..I agree Good Looking Guys...Sherry
