    As most people know, mushrooms need a special habitat with a special host. This small mushroon has such a need too, pine cones. It has to find a pine cone to call home.

    I've seen lots of pine cones but never (yet) seen any with fungi growing out of them. They look so delicate - almost like little flowers. :stew1:
