Susie, that is absolutely gorgeous. You are so fortunate to live in a climate that has flowers in mid-January. Thanks so much for sharing.
That's out of this world, SusieQ. What type is this one? I'm nursing a Phalanopsis on my kitchen window. I 'd like to try another variety. Thanks for sharing.
OH WOW!!! What gorgeous flowers Susie. Thanks for sharing them with us. I can almost smell their scent from here. :-D
hi guys. if i am not wrong, this is actually a tree. found it in taiwan when i was there, and then later on when i visited hong kong. it's really the flower on the hong kong flag (if they have something called a flag). the tree/flower is Bauhinia blakeana (in hong kong) or just search for bauhinia on google and u will see all kinds. i was looking for seeds, but i figured in cold-wintered romania, i'd need a big greenhouse to actually have such a tree flower. NICE ONE! calin
Beautiful blooms, Susie. I wish I could smell them too. I liked seeing that bright and sunny pic. It's cold, gray and with blowing rain here today. What a lifting foto this is. Thanks.
