Snow totals are now up to 12-18 inches for Tuesday into Wednesday. C'mon spring!

Me too here in eastern Pa. I am prepared, plow ready, got fuel, that is propane, oil and karocene, generators are warmed up, chickens food and water are readied. large amounts of bags wood pellets are piled up in my living room and greenhouse. Food is stock piles as usual....Just have to get "Alice food" this morning. That must be fresh, dandeloins and mustard greens won't last that long... I will get a large batch today and will need it again on Thursday...that will work...

This Barb is ready for whatever nature serves me...

Wowwwwwwww - makes our couple of inches of snow seem sort of minimal!

No snow predicted for the coming week here. Daytime temperatures are suppose to be above freezing. The snow is melting but there's still over a foot of it in the yard. Stay warm all...Spring's around the corner!

Looks like Long Island pretty much dodged a bullet. Snow total predictions are dropping faster than I can type. We had roughly two inches on the ground, and now for the most part it's all rain. Winds are picking up tho.

We dodged the bullet too. Woke up to the same amount of snow we had yesterday!
It just started snowing, though, so maybe we haven't dodged anything yet LOL

How has everyone fared? Delaware got lucky again with just rain. But our flooding is our biggest concern. Hope everyone has survived whatever snow you received from this (hopefully) last minute storm.

Is the storm over in your area? They say it's gonna be pretty much done here by 4:00 pm.

We are getting double whammy here. The storm coming up the U.S coast is connecting with the one from Ontario. Maybe close to 40 cm of snow and then hail, freezing rain and rain tomorrow afternoon. All with blizzard type winds. Ugh!:(

We have 24 inches of snow on the ground now. It is terrible to plow.. our plow Jeep got stuck 4 or 5 times. The neighbor had to come help us get out of the ditch. It was even getting stuck on flat ground...Just wouldn't go...

And the thing I most worried about was the tarp that we keep over the chickens collapsed. what you see is about 10 or 12 inches of snow on the tarp on the ground. I snowed so fast we couldn't get it off quick enough....Don't know if there were chickens under it..We will find out when we shovel the snow off to begin to fix it...
