We had a giant size thunder and lightning storm and there was actually RAIN with it. I don't have a rain gauge but we estimate at least two inches. It was really pouring down and very windy and lots of thunder and lightning. The electricity was out for about two hours. We sat on the deck after the rain quit because without the fans and a/c it got hot quickly inside. It was just getting too dark to read out there when the electric came back. Now, it's about bedtime as we have an early day tomorrow.

I was wondering if the reports were correct and thought of you. Reports of severe thunderstorms were headed to Huntsville and that area.
Glad you got some rain... and ever happier that the power didn't stay out any longer.
Okay... who else was on the list for getting some rain?
