It's a tv program 2 guys search for JUNK in barns and old building.I love seeing what they buy . I want to go to their shop in Iowa.
I was going to e-mail them. guy not far from here.Huge 2 story barn FULL.He never threw anything away.
I have seen it if it's on the schedule on one of our weekends away from home. It is very interesting, there is always a lot of junque that they pass up that I would love to have. They just need to let me travel with them for a few days to fill up our pickup.
Since I like old country things. Got metal wagon wheels.pitchers pumps -lot of bird house made out of barn boards. But I see them passing up garden gate. And want to some GINGER Bread trim for the house. But going to their shop In Iowa this spring.
Toni, now honestly, do you think that it would take "a few days" for you to fill your pick-up? A semi, maybe, but a pick-up you could have filled in an afternoon! When we lived in upstate NY, a friend was a "picker" who traveled New England rooting through barns and outbuildings and filling a semi with stuff. When he got home my antiquing friend and I would dash over with a hot casserole and fresh bread and help "unload". We got first choice, and he was so tired and hungry that we got bargains before he rested up and came to his senses.
I should go to one of my church member barn. He's who I got metal tractor wheels from. Was hold House and barn and hay loft plum full.Very nice guy niece just can't throw anything away.
I love watching American Pickers. There are a few other shows with the same theme I like...Storage Wars, Cash and Cari...good fun to watch.
I think I have seen cash and Cari. And I have things like telephone. One of my coffee drinker friend. Said he took DUMP truck loads to dump. Made me sick. I also like going to flea market. And craft shows. mostly garden signs and art.
Yes, We are from out there by them. My mother-in-law goes there once in a while. She passes buy them all the time. I want her to take pics of the place but she can't make those instant cameras work right. Geeeesss..... Barb in Pa.
I'm going to ask Guy at church if he has some old Wash tubs I could buy.Make great flower containers. Jerry when I get pencil. And draw up new flower bed plans.
