The Greenlace wing is supposed to be the best aphid helper for the gardener, at least its youngsters. This insect is very small and unless you see it very close, you cannot appreciate its fine lace wings. There is something really appealing about green lacewings. I think it's those big 'puppy dog' eyes they has. I love coming across these delicate little insects in the garden - sadly they seem to be fewer every year though.
