These were taken last weekend, but due to my computer playing silly beggars, I have only just got the piccies resized and uploaded here.

As you can see, spring is springing all over the place in my garden and it is looking lovely. My garden really is a spring garden with a mass of bulbs and pulmanaria and of course, primroses. The aquilegias are begining to shoot up and will be in bloom anytime soon so there will be more photos and the colours change.

Simply lovely! The one thing I miss here in Texas is having a true spring--we seem to go directly from winter to early summer.
Seeing your lovely photos gives me a taste of spring, so thank you very much!

Its a gorgeous display of spring flowers there, EJ. You must have one of the prettiest gardens in your neighbourhood. I am always amazed at how you can have such a nice garden, allotment a still do your work and rearing a family. It boggles the mind.

Thank you so much marlingardener. I do love the garden during spring, so much colour after such a long winter.

Sjoerd, the garden is pretty wild and has to look after itself. It also has to suffer the ravages of the children and their footballs, golfballs, tennisballs and feet!! Things seed around and get oiked out as I pass when hanging the washing out if they are in the wrong place, and I often pick the odd weed as I wander up the garden to let the guinea pig out and give it to her to munch on. It isn't manicured, but I do love it.

Oh what a delightful set of phtoographs EJ. I love to see my fratilleries coming into flower at this time of year. I have the snake's head ones and the white ones that you have. My aquilegias are coming up and my bleeding heart is in flower. My tulips and bluebells are about to open even although my daffoldils are still in bloom. Am I complaining? No way. The more the merrier. I love spring!! :-D

You've got the whole color wheel blooming at once. It's exactly the kind of garden I love, casual and free.

I noticed today one of the bleeding hearts is in bloom -- they are so pretty -- some hyacinth and of course the jonquils. My favorite dogwood tree is about to burst open, any day now...

    Absolutely beautiful EJ.
Like Marlingardener said, we really don't have a true Spring. I have summer blooms opening up now. But I will certainly enjoy your Spring blooms.

Wonderful blooms EJ ... so cheerful and bright. I'm still waiting for my first bloom. What is the lovely blue bloom in the last photo?

Thanks everyone. Netty, the last one is an anemone grown from little corms.
