This Spring has actually been Spring weather, cool to warmish temperatures (except for the 80-90's that have shown up a few times) Looking at photos from the past two + years things are coming to life later this year and hopefully that means they will look pretty longer....maybe even look better in the summer too. But I am not holding my breath waiting for that.

These are the Echinacea purpurea 'Magnus' babies that I dug up last fall from an area that was being re-done. I dug up 10 and 14 are coming up....I like that kind of math.

Bombay Eyes Iris.....there are two smooshed together and three more buds further down.

I really don't like the color pink but these Snaps are making a pretty show.

I don't have much luck with Tulips and I don't expect it to come back next year, just depends on what next winter is like.

I can't find the package so I don't know the species of Daffodil, but they are so tiny, only about 2 inches across.

Toni, could those be Tom Thumb daffodils? We have a clump in the front flower bed and they look just like those. Your garden is certainly waking up from winter!

Toni, your plants look awesome. I love early spring color. I'm buying too many foliage plant and not enough blooming plants.

Jane, I really don't remember buying them so I will go with your ID of them and Tom Thumb they are!! Thanks, I spent quite a bit of time looking on line and found nothing even close to them in coloring and size.

MsKitty thank you. I have been trying to add more Spring bloomers other than Iris.
