The flower garden would not be the same without these gems sprinkled across it. There are so many sorts growing there. Here are just a few. I hope they brighten-up your day as they do mine... it is gray, windy and pouring down rain here at the moment.

Very pretty Sjoerd. I like all the differant colors. But the flowers themselves I don't think I've seen before. To me they look like colorful shooting stars. Thanks for sharing.

OUTSTANDING shots....are you a professional? I want your camera.....LOL. When I tend to make my pictures larger...they are blurry and I am thinking it is because the camera is only a 5 megapixel..? Am I correct? Have a great day and keep sharing those beautiful pictures.

Oh yess! I do like aquilegia a lot! I let mine self-seed. It's fun to see what I might get. I hope you don't mind my sneaking in some of my own photos, Sjoerd?

I lucked out with "Nora Barlow", here are two of the babies:

This one has variegated leaves. The flowers are less interesting:

    A couple of small ones:

I have had success growing Columbine in this yard and after looking at those photos, I think I need to get more!
I just LOVE the black one, and the darker blue one. Who am I kidding, I love them all! And Droppy I've never seen blooms quite like your Nora Barlow babies.

Wrennie, they are adorable! Are they minis? Love your pink pompoms too Netty. Is the blue one small? It looks like Aquilegia flabellata nana.
