These lovely flowers are growing in a neighbors fence. Are they clematis?

Clematis armandii, perhaps?

Saw these at the nursery today. The evergreen spring blooming clematis. That one is gorgeous.

 

This Clem is a beauty! I don't think they are available, or hardy in my area, I have not heard of them.
I would love to be able to have these to bloom in spring and accompany my Sweet Autumn, which covers the fence and puts on its show in the fall.

 

Does anyone know their sun needs. I might have just the place for one of these clematis?

I'd been looking for a shade tolerant pretty vine.
