This morning my one tomkitty is dying. Apparently, some no good varmint poisoned him. :'( :'( :'( One of my neighbors is poisoning our pets and we don't know who YET. I did allert my vetinarians, but a lot of good that will do. They were both tied up elsewhere. We need a couple of vetinarians who would have just a 24 hr emergency clinic around here. I have lost pets before because there is no such thing in my area. I am so angry I could spit nails. I hope this doesnt violate any board rules, but I had to tell somebody. :-x :-x :-x

I'm so sorry to hear about Inky and I hope you can find out who the culprit was. I really don't understand people who harm animals in this way.

Condolences for your loss. There really isn't any words that can cover such a loss.

I do hope that something can be done to discover and prosicute the person or persons that have poisoned your pet. It really is a sub-human act.

I hope that you can have the strength to have an autopsy done on your pet as the first step in getting to the bottom of this ghastly deed.

My heart is hurting knowing that someone poisoned your dear friend...there are no words that could convey how utterly mad I am that such a person is living amongst "normal" people and is allowed to hurt their neighbors in such a horrific manner!

A necropsy costs a lot of money. As far as I know, Missouri does not prosecute such people. I buried him in my memory garden shortly after he died, and planted irises and a rose of sharon bush on top of his grave. No vet has ever offered to do a necropsy on a poison case of mine, nor mentioned prosecution of the guilty parties. We are still in the process of starting up some no kill animal shelters around here, because the old system just used the extra animals for target shooting. :-x South Carolina prosecutes such people.

I wonder if the SPCA would be interested in following up on this. They CAN prosicute.

That hurts my heart too... How terrible for you and your kitty. The only thing that brings me the slightest bit of peace is that he died in your arms, knowing he was well loved till the end. I am so so sorry.
