Are we too early? I have a '12 days of Christmas' show that I have put together, and wondered if it is too early yet. The reason is mainly because I have made a follow up also, 12 Days after Christmas.

I'm Norwegian and absolutely hate the thought of anything Christmassy before either December 1st or the first Advent Sunday, whichever comes first.

Some shops have rolled out their X-mas decorations already and I'm boycotting each and every one of those shops until I'm ready for it. :D

I guess I'm a horrible, old granny who cling to ancient customs.

I vote for every two days starting Dec 1st. Then again there may be lots of Reindeer just chomping at the bit wanting to get started. Doesn't Santa have to make a test run with the sleigh because it hasn't been used since last year? Are all the children plugged into the on-board sleigh GPS? There are so many things to do before the big day......decisions.....decisions.......decisions...... but not before thanksgiving!!

Yup I to think it is way to early for anything Christmas. Droopy, I to am a firm believer that they shouldn't put the Christmas stuff out until after Thanksgiving. That made the season more special. But the almighty $$$$$$$ is what stores are concerned about. Not the season or what it stands for.
