    A simple question:

As of recent has Google been doing a good job of returning relevant results to you when you search for something :?:

    Thanks for replying folks!!

I follow how the search engines are performing (it's too technical to get into here :)). It's part of my 'job'.

I'd just like to advise all that Google has just upgraded to some new software and it is performing very poorly. I suggest that everyone check out http://www.ask.com/ at least once and compare results. You may be pleasantly suprised!

No, google searches seem to really elaborate recently, i find it really difficult to find exactly what i am looking for.Ask.com is so much easier and the answers relate clearly to my questions.

Ah, is that why it seems I have to wade through so much irrelevant stuff before I find something now? It seemed to do a better job before... I'll check out Ask too. Thanks!

I do affiliate marketing and SEO so I *try* to keep up with whats going on. Google has been taken over by irrelevant results and scraper sites ;)

I tend to use Yahoo, MSN and Ask now.
