Well... this one is supposed to bloom. And to me, it's a pretty/cool flower.
And I am more than happy to see it survived out in the garden.

Paid some good money for the 2 (actually 3, but one died in a pot) rhizomes...

I REALLY WISH for at least one of them to bloom!

    Fingers crossed, please!

...oké Calin--my fingers are good and crossed for you and the Arisaemas. That at least two of them have made it this far is encouraging, I'd say.

I think that Arisaemas are a bit of a challence, here in Nederland--at least this type. If you look at their original habitat--Their original habitat is the eastern Himalaya. They typically grow at elevations of 2400-3900 m in India, Nepal and Bhutan in Rhododendron forrests, and high, alpine grasslands.
I don't know about where you live, but this is nothing like the sort of landscape here where I live--the low countries, you know.

Having said all that, I have tried to create a little place in the garden that matches what they are used to with a somewhat acid soil with leaf mould on top...and of course in the shadiest place. I keep it moist with canal or rainwater only.

I really hope that yours put up a coule of blooms for you...don't forget to post a picture of them when they bloom. Oké?

The shoots look nice and sturdy at the moment Calin. I'll keep my fingers crossed that they grow well and bloom for you soon.

;) Are all those critters yours? I clicked on the picks you have above and looked at the others there. I'll be sending the plumeria seeds soon, and will let you know when they go out.

The more fingers crossed the better. This is an exceptional flower, I hope it blooms soon.

    Thank you all!

So how many fingers so far? LOL
Still looking good... grew a bit since the day pics were taken.

They are in complete shade, about 1m from neighbors house and close to an old apple tree (that looks really crappy, no branches or leaves).
Always in shade and looks like soil never dries up!

Not Himalaya... but so far so good. I only wonder why one is yellowish/light green and the other is dark brown/green.

    They kinda look different!
