Armadillo I caught burrowing under someones house. Their burrows can be extensive and damage to the foundation can occur.

Fascinating creatures although I suppose they do quite a bit of damage. What do you do with the srmadillos you catch?

I think they're cute, too. Although many in other areas of the country think that our chipmunks are cute, and they also can do a lot of damage!

He IS kind of cute. I'm just glad he's not in my yard. I get enough damage from the skunks.

I've never seen one in life but the pics of them are cool. I had a friend who saw one in LA while there and she said they look like little army tanks. I didn't realize they do so much damage. Thanks for sharing.

Sooooooooooooooooooo cute, but yes, we don't have to suffer the damage. Closest we ever get to seeing them is at the zoo!

They sometimes dig up lawns and gardens looking for grubs but most people can usually live with that. It is when they get under your house or pool deck that they are trouble.

We call them possum on the half shell around here. They are a nuisance, but they do have their place in nature I reckon. I've always heard they are a carrier of leoparsy, but thats just hear say I think. They are sure noisy in the woods when your trying to hunt, ya think a deer is coming just to find out its an armadillo.
