These are some of the flowers and wildlife I have in my garden at them moment. Crocosmia lucifer. Rose (sorry don't know which one) nasturtiums. honeysuckle lemon thyme. dragonfly. cornflower. tiny froglet. Lilies. passionflower. Greenbottle. water snail. spider. lavender. sea holly. toad.
Great pictures Eileen! I've never seen a frog that small! I just love those first 2 Daylily's and that Passionflower is gorgeous!
Wonderful shot of the Greenbottle Eils, I love that metallic green. Things are certainly thriving and colourful in Scotland.
Great photos. Very handsome toad. Right now we have the tiny frogs too. They are so cute and everywhere. I'm always afraid to cut grass for the little fellows. Thank you for sharing.
Awesome photos Eileen! I love the dragonflys! I have the crocosmia also mine is Emily McKenzie though its orange. I just love that stuff. Your red is beautiful! Your nasturtiums are wonderful. Do you have any tips for those? Mine are sickly looking. Jo
Your flowers are absolutely wonderful. You took some great pictures. I have passionflowers but their blooms are different .I love yours also
What lovely flowers you have! And that little frog is adorable. My Crocosmia "Lucifer" is also in bloom. The orange ones are slower.
Jo I pop the nasturtium corms into the ground after soaking them for about an hour. They do their own thing after that so I can't really give you any tips as I just leave them to get on with it. The leaves make a nice alternative to lettuce in a salad and the flowers are also edible. :-D
The joints jumping over there! It's funny that the lowly fly is so beautiful, isn't it? I love that weird sea holly. Is it for full sun? The tiny froglet is adorable. I especially like that deep maroon lily. Crocosmia is a favorite of mine. Everything is gorgeous. Makes all the work worthwhile, doesn't it? :-D
Bethie the sea holly doesn't seem to mind where it is in the garden but I have mine in partial shade.
Everything looks great Eileen. I especially like the lillies with the rain drops on them. Because of the drought, there isn't much left here.
