Around the birdbath...

    This little bird bath gets a lot of action...birds fly up from the pergola feeding area to get a drink from this birdbath when they have a large one right there.... Here is a juvenile oriole. He was fun to watch, he jumped right in without any hesitation. I think he has been here beforelll

    The Blue Jay seems to be looking at the cement birds asking their permission to use the bird bath....

    That's cute! I'm not used to seeing blue jays be polite!

    I thought the blue jay might be thinking , "How thirsty am I? Do I really want to drink water that somebody else was bathing in?"

    I think they are all wondering, "Who are those cold, gray, hard guys? They just sit on the side never seeming to take a bath. Well, I'm not waiting for them to decide to jump in...."
