First off... my new flower bed is filling in.

Only thing flowering right now is the Coreopsis.

I've added some Portulaca and Moss Rose around the "circle" part for border. Hopefully everything will be blooming by the end of June for our family BBQ.

A neighbor was throwing away this corner stand... naturally I snagged it. I had the perfect place in mind to put it as soon as I saw it. Painted it to match the other flower stand on the porch... and added some shade-loving plants.

Two of my brothers have old cars they plan on refurbishing one day. I took one of each of their's license plates for hubby to use on a birdhouse. Since it's from cars... he said he just had to add some chrome! :D

And finally... some Kildee's have been "courting"... and now she's laid her eggs. Fortunately they are back by my brothers shed where no one has to drive. Hopefully they'll hatch soon.

Your 'new' planter looks great Cheryl. Love the way your bed is progressing and that bird house was a great way to use old number plates!! I hope all the eggs hatch in the Kildee's nest and that you manage to take some shots of the youngsters for us.

Your garden is filling in nicely. Say, what is that red stuff blooming there in the wheel barrow?

Cheryl, I liked each of your pics very much. Those plots of yours are coming along quite well, aren't they? The blooming choreopsis is looking vert bright and cheerful.
The Kildee I found interesting to see. I have never seen them before.
The bird house Might get pinched by Gail--she's got a collection, y'know.

    Great post!

Nice photos! Your plants look quite nice.
I recognized the eggs and nest as that of what we call a Killdeer. I just encountered a nest in one of my customer's gardens. These birds nest in open grassy areas. The one I saw was on a golf course. It seems so vulnerable! They have very interesting behavior. Hope your bird's eggs hatch!

Netty... the red flowers in the wheelbarrow are Petunias. There's also some Begonia's in there too... but those Petunias just took over them. I plan on transplanted the Begonias elsewhere this weekend.
Kay... yes Killdeer/Killdee... same bird... we just seemed to always call them Killdee's for some reason. Around here, they lay their eggs in rocks. Sure seems they could find a safer place to lay them than in driveways and golf courses!
