I'm totally loving this Fountain Grass.. especially when the sun lights it up and it dances in the breeze.

We call Joysticks thrift over here - the bees love them. You have so many lovely flowers that I would be hard pushed to pick a favourite but 'Hot lips' makes me smile every time I look at it. :-D

Come on over Barb... I have plenty of room on the swing.

Eileen... I was looking at the markdown rack one day and a man asked me if I knew anything about the Joysticks. I told him never even heard of them. But we convinced each other that for $1.00 we'd give some a try. I'm glad I did... they are "fun". Yeah... "Hot Lips"... perfect name for them.

What a lovely selection of flowers you have. The lilies are stunning!

I'm not familiar with Juncus but it certainly looks an interesting plant to have.I like different shapes and textures and it fills that criteria very well. Off to explore I think..

Looking good there, Cheryl. I reckon that I am about a month behind you in terms of which plants are blooming.

Your plants and blooms are looking quite good, you lucky so-'n-so. :)

Cheryl, Everything looks so healthy! I can't tell which one I like the most...maybe the Joysticks! Thank you for the garden tour.

Ugh I'm jelly your flowers are so pretty and such a nice variety. Never heard of hot lips but they remind me of Alice and wonderland for some reason. Haha :) I love the pretty cone flowers. I've tried with seeds 2 years in a row. Last year I got foilage but no flower. This year they didn't grow at all. Cute palm tree pot up there too.

Jewell... I just found it growing along the front fence one day among the old "regular" daylilies. I did make sure to mark it and later move it to my daylily bed for safe keeping.

Kiasmum... I ran across the tag for the "Deadlock" last night... it's actually a "Rush", not a Juncus. I need to see if I can edit that name so as not to cause confusion.

Sjoerd... I bet that in one month I'll be calling you the lucky so-n-so as I drool over all your plants.

Cayuga... Those Joysticks are so cute. And they are full of surprises...they'll put on white flowers or pink or both.

Laura... I haven't had much luck with Coneflowers from seed. So I buy a few every year when I can find them. And I through in seeds... just in case. That "palm tree planter" was a waste basket. I never could find a container that would fit it in, so I just lined it with plastic grocery bags.

Thanks everyone for the nice words!
