Whew! I made it through with no damage. I lost one sunflower and a squash plant looks like its broken. Blue sky and sunshine right now.

Donna, when I saw the weather report this morning, I immediately thought of you. So happy that the damage was minimal, and that the storm is long-gone for you.
If you need squash, I'll be happy to send a ton to you (if you want to pay the postage :D ).

Thanks Jane but I have more then enough squash for me and the chickens next door. I'm running out of ideas of what to do with it. I beer battered zucc, yellow squash and eggplant this morning and froze them.

He should be greeting Chrisle in New Brunswick, Canada sometime tonight and through tomorrow.

He came furiously and moved everything in his path. I just got hydro and telephone back after 5 days. It is a real mess in New Brunswick. A tree landed on F.I.L's house. It is vacant but still used for some things so hydro is still connected there. No damage to the house. My garden is another story. The wind blew the leaves off of the beans and winter squash and cucumbers. There are just little stems sticking up now. Some might make a come back. Lost a few tomatoes plants but I had plenty so that didn't hurt so bad. The corn took a beating. Some of it looks like it is coming back and the potatoes are flattened but those too I think are going to do okay. Most of my flowers look like I ran over them with the lawn mower. Just stems sticking up with those too. And to top all this our generator decided to quit a few days before the storm so we were without that to keep the freezer going. I crammed as much as I could into the RV freezer and precooked what I could to freeze later. I did lose some veggies, one pizza. I gave about 20 pounds of chicken to my pastor's wife. I had no way to save it and I just can bring myself to waste anything. I would much rather see someone have it then toss it! Upside, we had the 5th wheel to live in with lots of propane for the stove and fridge. Fortunately DH had just filled the water tank as we were planning on taking the trailer to a local trailer park. Had all the comforts, food, heat or Ac and a bathroom! We were blessed. :-D

So sorry Chrisle that you caught so much of Arthur's fury. I've been through it several time and know how heart breaking it is. Glad you and your family are ok and had the comfort of the RV.
