    Oh my goodness!! Those are soo beautiful!! how do you draw them? Do you just visualize images and just draw? or do you use other images and draw what you see in pics .. or both? I bet you have a beautiful museum of art work!

    Owl! They're fabulous, I feel I could stroke the feathers. They look so soft. Even the ivy looks great!

    My Goodness, those are amazing!! I totally agree with Glendann, they are magical. You captured the life and essence in your drawings eileen, and that is very hard to do. Just simply amazing!

    :oops: Awwww thank you everybody.

    Star those three are pen and ink sketches and the barn owl was drawn, and adapted, from an ornament my eldest son gave me. Here it is:

    The top one was from memory and the tortoise was done especially for a friend who ran a tortoise sanctuary. Sadly she is no longer with us as she died in February from cancer. :'(
    I don't actually tend to keep much of my stuff - just photographs of them as I don't have space to store them. I have, however, kept the two owls as they're my favourite birds.

    WOW Eileen...those are great...I am lucky if I can draw a stick person..My sister was very good when she was alive..she did drawings, paintings and crafts..thank you for sharing..

    WOW, what talent lurks there! Do you paint also? Those look like they could fly right off the page at you.

    Yes I do paint too CK but only now and again and rarely in oils these days as they take so long to do.
